Supporting Southern California
Homeless Counts

The Office for Urban Initiatives at Fuller Seminary has initiated a faith-based initiative that is dedicated to helping Southern California counties, cities, and communities successfully complete homeless counts and surveys by enlisting the volunteer support of congregational members. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires jurisdictions that receive HUD funding to complete an unsheltered homeless count every other year in order to help prevent and end homelessness. Such jurisdictions include the cities, townships, and unincorporated areas in the following counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura which are the initial targeted regions for the faith-based initiative.
